Assembly

Ships flat-packed with pre-cut, pre-drilled, factory-stained lumber and a complete hardware kit labeled by step. Most Backyard Discovery-designed playsets are guided by the BILT interactive 3D assembly app on your phone or tablet, so you can rotate and zoom each step instead of working from a flat paper diagram. Plan on a full weekend for a two-adult team with basic hand tools (a cordless drill and a ladder make it faster); professional assembly services are available in many areas if you'd rather leave it to a pro.

Care

This structure is built from cedar, which naturally resists rot and insects and can be left to weather to a soft silver-grey, or kept looking freshly built with a semi-transparent exterior stain or sealer reapplied every 1-2 years, more often in harsh sun or coastal air. Keep gutters, roof panels, and seams clear of leaves and debris so water keeps draining the way it's designed to.

Warranty

Backed by Gaddy Gear's 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, effective from the date of delivery. Normal wear and tear, natural weathering of untreated wood tones, and damage from misuse, accidents, or improper assembly aren't covered. To file a claim, email contact@gaddygear.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video of the defect — we'll follow up with next steps, typically within 3-5 business days.
